The Abigail Stuart House

The Abigail Stuart House was built in 1908 by the Woman's Club of Olympia, and was later named after founder Abigail Stuart. The group has worked for social justice since 1883, and is the "Oldest Women's Club in the West."

As we were searching for a place to hold the wedding we were frustrated that a large number of indoor event spaces were owned by fraternal organizations. We were excited to find a beautiful space that was more in line with our priorities.

The Abigail Stuart House has a gender neutral restroom and a wheelchair access ramp. It's two blocks from Capitol Way bus stops and about four from the library stops. Parking should be available for all who need it, but let us know if you specifically need off-street parking near the house and we can reserve it for you.
